Algebra 2 extends algebraic concepts to analyzing functions and equations for their characteristics, working with complex numbers, function operations with polynomials, The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra, rational exponents and radical operations, radical functions and equations, exponential growth and decay, Natural Base e, logarithmic functions, solving exponential and logarithmic equations, explicit formulas for sequences and series, introduction to the trigonometric functions and their graphs, probability, data distributions, and inferences from data. Course meets pre-collegiate requirements.
