SPHERE, a
zipped VB program that calculates the great circle distance between any two
locations on a globe. This program will have to be downloaded, extracted, and
installed.
A file of 120 cities' longitude and latitude are available to be loaded into Sphere. Right click on this link: SphereCityList.scl and select (left click on) "Save Target As... " to download this file to the folder of your choice on you computer. After the SPHERE program is running, you can click on Options on the menu and then select Load City List. Open the file and SPHERE will automatically incorporate the file's data for use in SPHERE. See the picture below:
